Potatoes Purchase

Agronomic department of LYCKEBY AMYLEX, a.s.
provides the company with the purchase of potatoes, planting and cultivation potatoes and consultation activities. The department co-operates with 100 agricultural subjects, which are at the same time co-owners of LYCKEBY AMYLEX, a.s. through the company Česká škrobárenská a.s. The stated quota of LAX for potatoes starch is 17 887 ton in 2009. The quota is re-allotted for each of the Česká škrobárenská a.s. ´s partners. The crop area is on the average about 2 154 ha and the planting area for potatoes cultivation is about 249 ha. The agronomic department takes part in the annual testing – List of recommended varieties of potatoes at the Central Union of Growing Potatoes in Havlíčkův Brod. The department itself has also been testing about 17 varieties in the testing station in Horažďovice, the results of which are passed on the potatoes growers.
